Sr Engineering Quality Assurance Engineer

Sr Engineering Quality Assurance Engineer
(U.S. Citizenship Required*)
Orlando, FL

• Design methods and procedures to inspect, test, and evaluate precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment, and finished products
• Perform analysis of reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures when necessary
• Review Documents/Drawings/Instructions for conformance to requirements
• Compare defects against standards and recommends dispositions, and verify implementation of rework
• Collect, organize, and analyze project data; generate and/or review metrics
• Perform audits, assign corrective action, and verify implementation
• Participate in project reviews and meetings including technical design reviews, technical peer reviews
• Verify compliance to defined requirements
• Witness or monitor test activities
• Receive instructions from immediate supervisor; Work under general supervision
• Contact with multiple work groups as well as project leaders and other professionals within the Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality departments
• Interface with various engineering disciplines, manufacturing, program management, and other quality personnel
• Work as an individual technical contributor on one or multiple project
• Participate as an active member of the project team
• Interface with customer representatives
• Resolve problems of moderate scope
• Travel may be required, on occasion

• Able to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense Secret clearance
• Considerable knowledge of engineering (i.e., software, electrical, systems, etc) methodologies, tools, and standards
• Considerable knowledge of ISO 9001:2008, CMMI, ISO 14001 ASME, ANSI, EIA, etc.
• Considerable knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Skilled in written and verbal communication, including communicating issues, impacts, and corrective actions
• Able to multi-task and think creatively
• Considerable knowledge of interpretation of drawings
• Considerable skill in reviewing documents/drawings/instructions for conformance to requirements techniques
• Considerable skill in reporting quality activities, findings, and issues both in writing and verbally
• Considerable interpersonal skills
• Considerable knowledge of use of relevant inspection/measurement tools and techniques

*U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree.
