We are currently searching for the right talent to fill this opportunity:

Fitness & Wellness Specialist 2
(U.S. Citizenship Required*)
Puyallup, WA

• Plans, administers and delivers wellness programs. Engages employees in services that support their well-being. Implements exercise programs that are safe, effective and engaging. Establishes policies and procedures for on-site wellness activities. Collaborates with corporate strategy, suppliers, business partners and others to effectively deliver services.

• Supports promotion and delivery of company wellness programs. Develops and instructs exercise programs that are safe and effective. Interacts with suppliers, business partners and others to effectively deliver services.

• Supports delivery of wellness activities in alignment with company wellness initiatives. Develops and delivers basic exercise programs to individuals or groups. Modifies exercise to individual needs and provides focused one on one coaching. Provides recommendations and referrals to company wellness programs.

• Performs facility monitoring, cleaning and maintenance. Assists with daily operations of facilities, participant recruitment and administrative duties. Supports overall operations of facilities.

• The position is 30 hours a week M-Th. Start and end times may very slightly due to work demands.

• Required – Certifications are current and annual re-fresher training that meets OSHA compliance requirements, must be provided for:
o American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR Training
o First Aid Training
o AED (Automated External Defibrillator) Training
o OSHA compliance training related to Bloodborne Pathogens
*U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Conditions of Employment:
Applicants selected for employment will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation which may include education, criminal and work history verifications.
