Description:
Machine Operator

Shot peening is a cold working process used to produce a compressive residual stress layer and modify the mechanical properties of metals and composites. It entails impacting a surface with shot (round metallic, glass, or ceramic particles) with force sufficient to create a plastic deformation.

This position is for a client in the Ambridge Area

The position is permanent in a metal manufacturing environment (Shot peening), exciting opportunity to learn a trade and learn all aspects of the business

Opportunity to grow with the company

Candidate must have a resume and interview with the client prior to starting

Must have Machine Operating experience and a background in metals is preferred

CNC and PLC experience preferred

Candidate must also be able to do their own set-ups, run the parts and use hand tools

Must be able to travel for assignments

Must be comfortable reading blueprints and read measurements
