Systems Engineer

Description:
Location: Centennial, CO
Duration: 1 year contract
Pay Rate: $50.00 - $60.88/HR
Overtime: Exempt
Per Diem Split: Yes (if eligible)

Job Description:
- Possess a strong mathematics/statistics and MATLAB background.
- The contractor will assist the Data Analytics team's progress through BETA testing, running/performing analyses, GUI upgrades, and integrating updates into ADAPTS tool that support a go-live operational tool by 1Q2019.
- Once the tool is operational, additional modules to be developed that will enable causal and correlation analysis in order to facilitate root cause determination.
- This will require the development of sophisticated heuristics based on various levels of artificial intelligence.

Education:
- Engineering/Math/Statistics degree.
- Most important is that candidates are strong in math/statistics and knowledge of MATLAB.
- 8-10 years’ experience, preferable in propulsion, avionics, ordnance, or structure component design, manufacturing, or testing in the Aerospace Industry.
- Background in propulsion, avionics, ordnance or structure component design, mfg or testing in aerospace related work.
- Prior experience with Data Analytics/Data Science related activities.
- Experience in pulling data from various sources and transforming that data into usable forms.
- Strong communication skills
