Sr Mechanical Design Engineer/Draftsman

Location: Windsor Locks, CT
Pay Rate: $68/hr
Duration: 12 month W2 contract
Shift: First
**MUST be a U.S. CITIZEN; NO DUAL CITIZENSHIP**
**NO RELOCATION COMPENSATION**

Description:
-Manages high complexity projects in multidisciplinary team environment with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the design, development, and utilization of electronic data in Pro-E Creo/Windchill software.
-Must be able to produce at least one of the following without direct supervision: All three would be preferable.
-Detail Drawings in Pro E/Windchill Environment, produce detail tolerance analysis preferably in Excel format
***GDT EXPERT*** and work within a PLM environment on Engineering Changes EC's, New product Development, Product Lifecycle Management. All three would be preferable, but expert in one is mandatory.
****Bachelors degree, or 10 plus years experience in direct environment.****

Additional Job Details:
-Bachelors degree required
Expert knowledge of dimensioning and tolerancing and the proper application compliant to ASME Y14.5 and the Hamilton Sundstrand Aerospace Drafting Manual, Stack ups, Loop Tolerance, on large aviation equipment including rotating equipment. ***GDT EXPERT***
• Expert knowledge of engineering drawing practices compliant to ASME Y14.100 and the Hamilton Sundstrand Aerospace Drafting Manual
• Familiarity with Model Based Definition MBD, and Reduced Dimension Drawings RDD
• A strong personal warranty to ensure the accuracy of the tolerance analysis and the completeness of the drawing definition

Bachelors degree, OR 10 plus years experience in direct environment.
Preference 1: Looking for a GDT Expert, capable of performing detailed tolerance analysis.
Preference 2: Looking for a Pro E/ Creo expert.
