Electrical Test Engineer - Aerospace

Description:
Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Bachelors in Electrical or Computer Engineering

Prefers at least five years of experience

Job Description:

Will need to read/review hardware schematics for PCBs.

Will need to have a solid knowledge base in Hardware/software interaction, but will not have to read/write software code.

Product Line: Avionics products (complex electronics major functions are processing/computing, memory, interfaces (ethernet, USB, 1553, CAN, ARINC664, RS-485, RS-422, etc.)

Job Duties:

The Reliability, Maintainability and Test Engineer will be responsible for the execution of RM&T program activities including the following:

- Reliability Predictions using generally accepted methodologies (field data, MIL-HDBK-217F, etc.) and tools (e.g. Windchill Quality Solutions)

- Failure Modes and Effects Analysis

- Maintainability (MTTR) and Testability (detection, isolation) Analysis

- Performance of Built-in-Test Verification testing (using hardware and software inserted faults)
