Job Description:
Sets up and operates various types of metal fabrication equipment such as c-squeezer, pneumatic press, arbor press, and saws to cut, and form metal plates, sheets, and structural shapes. Locates and marks hardware installation and reference points onto workpiece using rule, compass, straightedge, or by tracing from templates. Install hardware into additively manufactured parts using heat or adhesives. May determine proper sequence of operations to make parts. May be required to inspect completed pieces using protractors, scales, gauges, calipers, etc., for conformance to specifications and/or blueprints. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Mandatory Skills minimum 3 years:
- Previous metal hardware installation experience
- Ability to interpret engineered drawings
- Previous machine shop experience
-SAP and Microsoft preferred but not required, candidates with this knowledge will be shortlisted over those that do not.
Required Skills:
- Familiar with SAP
- Ability to effectively communicate issues to ME and or Supervisor as necessary
- Team player willing to do what it takes to get the job done
- Familiar with Microsoft products including, excel and outlook
