Senior Solder Assembler- Job Id 38651

Description:
We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for a Senior Solder Assembler to join a leading Company located in the Greenlawn, NY surrounding area.

Job Responsibilities:
Performs complex assembly or modification tasks on electronic and mechanical components, subassemblies, and systems.
Solder through-hole, surface mount, jumpers, and complex wiring on circuit card assemblies and other electro- mechanical devices.
Assembles, disassembles, and modifies various production subassemblies by following work plans.
Inspects results to ensure conformance to IPC-610 standards.
Performs tasks of lower-level solder assembler job descriptions as needed.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.

Skills Required:
Advanced solder capability.
Must achieve specified solder certifications in various assembly/soldering techniques per Company and customer standards.
Able to work to process sheets/route cards.
Able to use small hand tools and all hand soldering equipment.
Able to perform simple testing.

Skills Preferred:
Circuit card assembly rework.

Experience Required:
Requires four (4) to five (5) years of electronic solder assembly experience.

Experience Preferred:
(5) to (10) years of electronic solder assembly experience.

Education Required:
High School Graduate or equivalent.
