Software Engineer

Description:
Anticipated 12 month contract Secret clearance required

The candidate should have recent experience developing, integrating, and testing embedded real-time software in a hardware environment, plus the ability to develop, integrate and troubleshoot C++ code and use the python scripting language independently.

Required:
• DOD Secret active clearance
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Hardware/software integrator for real time embedded software
• Independent problem solver in hardware / troubleshooter
• Knowledgeable of real-time, embedded architectures
• Able to handle low-level jobs related to reprogramming and boot
• Clear communicator, both written and verbal

Desired Skills:
• Understanding of standard processes such as change management using ADS/TFS
• Experience in secure processors and methods
• Experience with RF technology; Python Scripting
• Experience with Continuous integration and test driven development.
• Work closely with other disciplines, the Chief Engineer's office, the program office, and the customer community
• Experience using troubleshooting tools such as digital analyzers, oscilloscopes, bus analyzers, etc.
