Lead, Global Trade Licensing

Description:
Primary & Essential Responsibilities:

•Review international license applications to ensure that they meet U.S. Government requirements and are processed in a timely manner
•Provide support to designated companies regarding Trade Compliance requirements in accordance with the U.S. Department of State International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), with specialized experience with the U.S. Department of Commerce Export
Administration Regulations (EAR)
•Serve as primary point of contact with the U.S. Government in order to submit, manage and resolve any issues related to international trade license applications
•Interface with the U.S. Department of Defense and other USG stakeholders to develop policy guidance to support the Company’s international marketing and sales
•Assist with developing and implementing guidance, procedures, processes and templates to facilitate international license requirements
•Actively participate and support training events (webinars, summits and conferences)
•Performs other duties and responsibilities as required

Position Requirements:

•Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study or equivalent practical work experience required
•MUST have a strong background in EAR licensing, de Minimis and encryptions regulations
•MUST have a strong background with CCL Category 5 and USML Category XI
•MUST have a strong background in Export Control Reform licensing
•Must meet requirements to act as an Empowered Official in accordance with the ITAR
•Must have or be able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance of SECRET or higher
•MUST have experience with OCR EASE software
•MUST exhibit a high attention to detail, integrity and discretion
•MUST be able to work well in a team environment
•Ability to manage assignments with limited supervision
•Ability to analyze and suggest solutions to complex problems
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Ability to travel up to 10% (when conditions are appropriate)

Preferred Additional Skills:

•Experience working under a Consent Agreement
•Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface with personnel at all levels, both verbally and in writing
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SharePoint
•Experience writing processes and procedures
