PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Level 2 Help Desk Support for an open position in Salem, OR.
Technical Support Technician (Salem, Oregon) 
Job Description 

The qualified candidate will be providing Technical Support via telephone to customers. 
Job Responsibilities 
• Providing telephone troubleshooting assistance for Video, Access Control, Intrusion, and Fire Detection systems 
• Communicate effectively to customers via telephone 
• Use of support system tools (PC based systems and telephones) 
• You will follow predefined procedures to identify, evaluate, solve and escalate issues 
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required 
• High school or equivalent education required, college degree preferred 
• Experience in use of a volt/ohm meter 
• Experience with basic electronics or PC systems knowledge 
• Experience with network admin/IP, and operating systems 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications 
• Must be able to communicate and share information easily over the telephone 
• One year experience installing or servicing security systems (Intrusion/Access/Video) preferred 
• One year Call Center experience preferred 
• You will need excellent customer service skills as well as strong communication skills, trouble shooting skills, excellent follow-through and strong PC skills 
• Network certification preferred 

Preferred Experience 
• Network installation/troubleshooting 
• Bi-Lingual language skills (Spanish/English)
