Electronics Assembler/ Solder

Description:
An Electronics Assembler job in Round Rock, Texas is currently available through Belcan with one of our Electronic Manufacturing clients. You will be responsible to perform assembly work on electronic assemblies and/ or PC Boards. To be considered for this role, you will need 1 year of electromechanical experience and PC Board soldering experience. This is a great long term opportunity with a growing company.

Electronics Assembler Job duties:
* Manually install electronic/mechanical components and jumper wires according to knowledge of unit being assembled by following written directions and/or drawings and/or schematics.
* Create soldered connections to applicable quality standards.
* Utilizes small hand tools for positioning parts to assist in assembly operation, stripping wire, forming leads, etc.
* Work in compliance with IPC, OSHA and MSDS safety policies.
* Document improved test and/or repair techniques.

Qualifications:
* At least 1 year of electromechanical assembly experience.
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Must be able to read and follow Build Procedures, Build Sheets, and Travelers.
* Must be able to interpret and understand BOMs, schematics, and drawings.
* Must be able to follow other internal procedures and inventory systems as necessary.
* Good eye/hand coordination (can work with small parts and assemblies).
* Individuals must pass the IPC basic soldering class.
