Product Acceptance Spec C

Description:
seeking 30 Product Acceptance Spec C located in New Orleans, LA

RESPONSIBILITIES:
oVerifies product conformance to design requirements.
oProvides objective evidence of results.
oValidates work instructions, tooling requirements, certifications, process standards, policies and procedures.
oIdentifies and documents discrepancies and segregates and controls non-conforming items.
oPerforms preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance.
oConducts product review with customer during product or process verification.
oIdentifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.

Verifies product conformance to design requirements. Provides objective evidence of results. Validates work instructions, tooling requirements, certifications, process standards, policies and procedures. Identifies and documents discrepancies and segregates and controls non-conforming items. Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance. Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification. Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
oExperience performing quality inspection in a manufacturing environment.
oMore than 3 years of quality inspection experience, including First Article Inspection (FAI).
oMore than 3 years of experience in the inspection of parts, components, assemblies or units.
oMore than 3 years of experience performing quality inspections on machined parts and mechanical assemblies.
oExperience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications.
oExperience with the following types of hand tools (calipers, digital optical micrometers, depth gages, thread gages, go no go gages, etc.)

Desires Skills/Experience:
oMore than 3 years of experience in Materials Review Board (MRB) and/or corrective action experience.
oExperience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard.
oExperience in Supplier Quality processes.
oMore than 3 years of experience in a Defense or Space related program (e.g. NASA, DOD, etc.)

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED and typically 4 or more years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift
6 AM - 4:30

MISCELLANEOUS:
This work assignment has been designated as 'safety-sensitive' by the Client. Contractors assigned to safety-sensitive jobs at the Client site must first complete regulatory pre-placement requirements prior to reporting to assignment. Additionally, contractors assigned to safety-sensitive work will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with federal mandates.
