Manufacturing Engineer

Description:
Nesco Resource is seeking a Direct Hire as a Manufacturing Engineer for our client in Kalamazoo, MI.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for continuous improvement on the manufacturing process; materials, design and manufacturing groups.

Job Description

Provide leadership on continuous improvement of manufacturing.

Develops and implements new processes

Works with other departments with design, materials and manufacturing groups to create instructions, drawings, and other documentation.

Drive repair, preventative maintenance, and calibration services of manufacturing equipment with the use of manufacturing equipment.

Monitor data and metrics to identify areas of waste and prioritize the development and implementation of solutions.

Develop budget of equipment

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in manufacturing is preferred.

3-5 years’ of experience in industrial manufacturing

Analytical and ability to improve processes

Background in mechanical, assembly, and fabrication

Ability to communicate both verbally and written

Experience in CAD Design preferred
