Principal Systems Engineer

Job Description
Major purpose: Responsibilities include leading engineering development, analysis, and flow down of requirements and verification and validation test planning. Specific responsibilities in this case include, requirements tracing and decomposition using the DOORS requirements management tool. Familiarity with GPS receiver performance criteria highly desired and familiarity with environmental testing required.
Major functions:
Technical/Functional skills:
Education/Experience/Licenses etc.: • Position requires a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline
• A minimum of 15 years’ experience in navigation/GPS systems with emphasis on embedded systems desired.
• Must have experience in requirements development and management.
• Knowledge or successful use of architectural frameworks, embedded systems programming, DOORS, military GPS, signal processing, electronic engineering and/or RF designs a plus.

Special Requirements:
An active DoD Secret Clearance is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet and maintain eligibility requirements for access to DoD classified information.
