$47.69/hr
12 month W2 contract
First Shift
Possible Travel
*MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN*
**NO RELOCATION COMPENSATION / NO PER DIEM SPLIT**

Position Responsibilities:
• Lead multiple buy to buy work transfer projects from a set of precision machining suppliers to another (make to buy and buy to make if required)
• Conduct RFQs and perform bid analysis
• Analyzes price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to determine reasonable prices
• Present business plans for management review
• Conduct pricing and contractual negotiations with suppliers
• Evaluate suppliers' capability, quality, reliability, and price competitiveness
• Organize efforts with regards to supplier performance improvements, expedite requests, and Supplier onsite support on critical recovery plans
• Work with Operational Procurement, Quality, Engineering and Program Management to ensure successful transfer of production requirements to new suppliers
• Provide regular project status reports to management
• Drive special projects with Suppliers and cross-functional teams across the organization as required

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)
• 6-8 years’ work experience or 5 years with Advanced degree
• 3 -4 years’ experience in Supply Chain/Sourcing/Commodity/Project Management
• Aerospace/Automotive/Industrial experience preferred

• Understanding of precision machining preferred
• Strong knowledge of Project management, Supply Chain practices and Commodity Management
• Strong analytical skills (MS Excel)
• Ability to effectively communicate and present to senior leadership
• Comfortable working in a fast pace environment with shifting priorities
• Demonstrated team building, leadership and interpersonal skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Demonstrated success in developing project plans and managing these projects through to successful execution, including overcoming obstacles
• Technical or manufacturing aptitude
• Must be U.S. citizen
• Ability to travel up to 50% if required

**Candidates with experience working on military programs and understanding of FAR and DFAR requirements are preferred
