Wire Design & Install Eng-Electrical/Electronic Installation

Volt is immediately hiring for a Wire Design & Install Eng-Electrical/Electronic Installation Design in Tukwila, WA & San Antonio, TX
Position Type: Full time(Contract)
Duration: 6 months
As a Wire Design & Install Eng, you will:
• Develop and maintain cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs. Analyzes results and performs design reviews.
• Lead the team to analyze results and performs design reviews.
• Provide engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests).
• Document processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities.
• Develop complex statements of work, metrics, schedules, and budgets.
• Perform technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection. Works under minimal direction.
The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's, Master’s, or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
• Experience in Wiring Integration, Wire installation/routing, Cable/Wire harness detail and assembly designs.
• Experience with following tools Catia, Mapper, WIRS, Mentor Capital or similar tools.
Pay Rate: $65-70 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
