Location: Fort Worth, TX
Pay Rate: $37.50/hr
Duration: 12 month W2 contract
Shift: First
Travel: Occasional travel between customer/suppliers and Company locations
**MUST be a U.S. CITIZEN**
**No Per Diem**

Description:
-The RMS engineer is responsible for generating and coordinating all required RMS analyses and documentation in support of the certification effort of Landing Gear System on a new aircraft and continued airworthiness of in-service aircraft.
-Required documentation includes but is not limited to: RMS Program Plans, Reliability Predictions, Failure Mode Effects Analysis / Summary (FMEA / FMES), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), (Preliminary) System Safety Analysis ((P)SSA), Common Cause Analysis (Particular Risks, Common Mode Analysis, Zonal Analysis), Dispatch Reliability Analysis, MSG-3 Analysis, Maintainability Plans and Analyses, Direct Maintenance Cost (DMC) Analysis, etc.
-In addition, the RMS Engineer is engaged with the Chief Engineer’s Office and supports the RMS aspect of R&D programs, as required.
-The engineer will maintain current and work on preparation of new RMS engineering manuals.
-This position works directly with the Customer. Occasional on-site support and travel will be required.
-Integration with the New Product Introduction (NPI) and in-production engineering groups is a must and, therefore, strong communication skills and team work is strongly desired.

Primary Responsibilities of this role include:
◦Provide support to the Project Head for all RMS related tasks which encompass:
◦Review proposals
◦Prepare, coordinate and execute RMS Program Plans
◦Prepare / review RMS documentation as listed above
◦Approve Engineering Dwg’s
◦Prepare and support Design Reviews as required
◦Support Landing Gear product improvements
◦Revise / prepare RMS Engineering Manuals
◦Perform RMS Analyses on R&D projects
◦Maintains compliance to ITAR and regulatory requirements

Requirements:
◦ Bachelors degree or higher required
◦ 4-6+ years of RMS experience
◦ Landing gear/hydraulic experience in the aerospace industry
◦ Excellent communication skills and ability to travel

Additional - executes RMS activities including:
•Foster strong customer relationships through accountability, transparency and credibility
•Responsible and accountable for all Landing Gear RMS tasks and its completion dates
•Communicates progress and roadblocks with the Project Head
•Provide RMS input to Landing Gear designers and Project Head to help ensure system compliance with customer requirements
•Utilize ACE Standard Work Tools to facilitate execution for RMS related tasks
•Supports Engineering investigations into failures and participates in Root Cause and Corrective Action •Occasional travel between customer/suppliers and Company locations.
•Support development of Landing Gear cultural initiatives through the use of Company 4-gears philosophies
•Perform other duties as required
•Must comply with all site EH&S policies and procedures
