Technical Designer (Wire Harness)

Description:
Seeking 2 Technical Designer 3's located in Ridley Park, PA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops, maintains and releases electrical/mechanical drawings, systems designs or engineering documentation and data by applying company, industry and governmental standards. Using design tools prepares documentation and incorporates design changes. Creates, develops and maintains systems designs by preparing design layouts, modifying existing designs and assisting in identifying design discrepancies. Supports engineering system design and functionality validation activities. Develops and maintains product installation designs and part designs ranging from simple to moderately complex. Coordinates activities and products with internal partners and external suppliers. Works under general direction.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE
Candidates must have recent experience (within the last year) in designing, developing, maintaining and releasing wire harness drawings and/or 3D Model based definition data packages using CATIA V5, the electrical workbench, BoGart and/or Teamcenter. Aerospace experience is desired, but not required. Candidates with Automotive wire harness routing / MBD experience will be considered. Prior experience with Wire Harness Installation design in the aerospace field is preferred.

Accredited AA degree in related discipline and typically 3 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
