The Client Global Services organization is seeking a Reliability Engineer for an exciting opportunity with the C-17 Fleet Reliability & Analysis Team in Long Beach, CA.

This candidate will perform Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) tasks such as Predictions, Failure Mode & Effect Analyses, Failure Review, Corrective Action, Maintainability Analysis, and Engineering Investigations.

Position Responsibilities:
Review field maintenance and failure data, track & analyze reliability & maintainability (R&M) performance
Evaluate the re-occurring failures, identify its cause and give suggestions for improving product’s reliability by using:
Root cause analysis (RCA) and Root cause failure analysis (RCFA)
Data evaluation methods like Weibull Tree analysis, Fault Tree analysis, reliability modeling, etc.
Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS)
Conduct failure analysis and trending analysis to recommend maintenance, operational or process changes to optimize aircraft systems reliability, maintainability and availability

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience with Weibull analysis
3+ years of experience with Fault tree analysis or 5 Whys analysis
Knowledge of Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
Knowledge of failure analysis and trending analysis to optimize aircraft systems reliability, maintainability and availability
Knowledge of aircraft maintenance
Experience in data visualization tools Cognos, Power BI, Tableau
Proficient in Excel, SQL/Python

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
3+ years of experience with Weibull analysis
3+ years of experience with Fault tree analysis or 5 Whys analysis
Knowledge of Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), including system, sub-system, functional (electrical/mechanical), component and device level.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience in Aircraft Reliability and Maintainability data
Experience using data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
Experience with Python/SQL/Excel

Education / Experience:
Bachelor's degree and typically 2 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with experience in an engineering classification. Required: Bachelor or Master degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, com
