Principal Java Software Developer (756)

Description:

CSS Staffing is seeking a Principal Java Software Developer to be the primary interface with project leads and System Engineers for software architecture decisions. Own multiple software engineering lifecycle activities, to include requirements analysis, object-oriented analysis & design (OOD), implementation, unit testing, integration testing, and delivery. Support development of complex internal and external system interfaces.

Required Skills

*10+ years of Agile Software Development experience Java programming expertise & knowledge of Oracle or other relational databases

*Demonstrated object-oriented programming experience and UML Modeling Techniques.

*Configuration management expertise including software release tools/processes and management of data *Knowledge of the UNIX and/or widows programming environment & UNIX shell scripting

*Experience with Subversion or Git

*Amazon Web Services experience.

*BS Degree in computer Science. MS Degree highly preferred.

*Must have an Active TS clearance.

Desired Skills

*Scrum master

*Web development experience with Ruby on Rails or a Node.js framework

*Knowledge of NoSQL Databases

*Knowledge of JavaScript and CSS; jQuery and Dojo library experience
