Manufacturing Engineer

Manufacturing Engineer (ME) is responsible for the manufacturing definition and ME related activities within the program / value stream through its lifecycle.  The ME is part of a the multi-functional Integrated Product Team (IPT) team that is deployed into the program / values stream and acts as the primary representative for (ME) at all program / technical reviews & externally (with customer & suppliers). Will ensure the manufacturing system meets stakeholder requirements including; technical compliance; adherence to ME processes and standards and compliance business case (including quality; delivery and cost).
Required Qualifications:
•    Bachelor Degree in Aeropspace engineering, mechanical engineering, manfuacturing enginering or Fiber/Polymer/Composite linked degree required.
•    Three (3) or more years of manufacturing engineering and data Management work expricence and/or training preferred.
•    Composites Manufacturing
o    Manufacturing engineering related process and configuration management, with related periodic reporting
•    Due to export compliance, must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident
•    Travel up to 10%, to support occasional technical meetings with suppliers, customers and other company facilities to ensure program success.

Additional Qualifications:
•    Training or experience in lean tools and techniques.
•    AutoCAD or simulation experience. CATIA model review preferred.
•    Knowledge of practical problem solving/8D.  
•    Documenting information for further evaluation.
•    Assessing risk in manufacturing processes (FMEA/PFMEA).  Design for manufacturing experience.
•     Data collection/analysis techniques.
•    Reading blueprints and customer specifications. 
•    Working with diverse skill sets and teams to accomplish results.
•    Good interpersonal team working skills with the ability to influence stakeholders. 
•    Proactive in regard to new developments of expertise required.
     Self-motivated, resourceful, strong minded and committed.
     Innovative toward all aspects of the job.
     Flexible and capable of working in a complex environment.
     Good reporting and communication skills on project status and progress.
     Capable of interfacing professionally with customers and suppliers
