Advanced Quality Inspector 1
(US Citizenship Required*)
Scottsdale, AZ

• Perform a variety of electrical/mechanical inspection operations on incoming parts/materials.
• Make critical decisions in the inspection of complex parts, using a variety of hand tools and scopes to ensure the compliance to requirements as defined in engineering drawings, industry specifications, and internal procedures.
• Deliver innovative solutions to meet customers changing business needs.
• Maintain updated on departmental standards to ensure services are consistent with and/or superior to industry best practices.
• Support and engage in programs, projects, and practices behind the culture and strategy and comply with all policies and procedures.
• Inspect parts, materials, assemblies and equipment to determine compliance to specified requirements
• Perform product inspection, real time defect evaluation, and housekeeping audits
• Prepare QA documentation
• Verify corrective action and rework implementation
• Generate and/or verify traceability information
• May use photography equipment or set-up for electrical/mechanical tests using simple equipment
• Interface with coworkers and internal customers and other departments
• May have occasional contact with suppliers

• J-STD_001, 002, IPC 610, MIL-STD-883, MIL-STD-750 and X-Ray qualification certifications may be required
• Considerable knowledge of electrical theory, ESD control, workmanship standards, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, stats & process control techniques, and operation of automated test equipment
• Skilled using PC applications (Microsoft Word, Excel)
• Skilled using basic mechanical measurement tools
• Interpersonal skills, conflict resolution skills
• Skilled in the set-up of basic electronic test configurations or mechanical test configurations
*US Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

Education and Experience:
• High School diploma or the equivalent is required. Associates degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Mechanical engineering is preferred. In addition, a minimum of 4 years of directly related experience is required.
