We are currently searching for the right talent to fill this opportunity:

Responsibilities:
• Lead Technician: lead assembly, disassembly and modification of systems by overseeing change, removal, replacement or upgrade of aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
• Oversee assembly, disassembly or overhaul.
• Configure aerospace vehicles, ground support and bench test equipment.
• Direct troubleshooting of complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
• Oversee systems and components validation/verification testing.
• Document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results).
• Inspect components and verify repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
• Lead and supervise others to perform tasks associated with the safe handling of an aerospace vehicle (e.g. jacking, towing, system operations).
• Provide training and mentor others.
• Position will be first, second or third shift; be cross utilized to perform servicing and team member activities; travel to support remote maintenance activities, and/or modification of forward deployed aircraft.

Qualification:
• Required – Active Secret Clearance. Candidates without this clearance will not be considered.
• Required – Willing and able to deploy/travel, on short notice to domestic/international locations, for a variety of durations, to meet customer needs and work statement, at the sole discretion of leadership. Unless compelling reasons exist, failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation.
• Knowledgeable in planning & leading all aspects of aircraft maintenance, modification and repair to include skill and experience in either Electrical and Avionics or Airframes system disciplines.
• Knows general aircraft maintenance and environment processes (FOD control, tool control, health & safety)
• Previous team leadership experience required
• Experience operating and repairing integrated air vehicle electrical and mechanical control systems, aircraft engines, auxiliary power units and alternate mission equipment, and accomplishing metallic and composite structural repairs.
• Familiar with both US Air Force Technical Orders, G081 maintenance data base, and able to interpret system schematic diagrams to isolate mechanical faults and repair faulty components.
• Work may require responding during off-hours and weekends.
• Work under minimal direction.
*U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or GED and typically 7 or more years’ related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
