Manufacturing Engineer / CNC Programmer

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Programmer with the following qualifications to perform noted functions.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for creating complex 5-Axis programs for aerospace housings and covers using MasterCAM
• Responsible for specifying/determining the most efficient cutting tools for all features being machined
• Designing tools and fixtures using Pro-E/Creo
• Supporting shop floor production.
• Required to perform as business needs dictate other tasks including but not limited to auditing processes, inspecting hardware, travel, and participate in continuous improvement activities

Qualifications:
• Associates degree in Manufacturing Technologies
• Three years’ experience (must be recent) programming 3, 4 and 5-Axis machining centers and jig borers using MasterCAM.
• Three years 3D modeling experience with Pro Engineer/Creo
• Must have strong cutting tool knowledge, Vericut experience a plus.
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with basic aerospace measuring tools
• Working knowledge of GD&T and part detailing
• Basic Computer Skills: proficient with Microsoft Word & Excel etc.
• Capable of effectively reading blueprints, specifications and manufacturing orders
• Experience creating detailed step by step work instructions and sketches for the manufacture of complex aluminum, magnesium and titanium housings and covers, a plus.
