RESPONSIBILITIES:
777X EE Subs PSDC Job Description
Client St. Louis 777X EE Subsystems Development team has an immediate need for Electrical System designers (grade 3 - 5) seeking advanced and challenging work. The candidate will work on the 777X EE subs team in St. Louis on the Proximity Sensing Data Concentrator (PSDC) team. The candidate will work on a multiple discipline team with suppliers on electrical systems for Proximity Sensing System (PSS)

Responsibilities include:
1) Develop and maintain system logic diagrams, release functional schematics and wiring diagrams
2) Lead the functional test development for the PSS
3) Review and dispositioning SDRLs in support of CDR and qualification testing
4) Interpret and develop design requirements based on technical data
5) Select components, prepare design layouts, modify existing designs and integrate system elements, to satisfy customer and productivity requirements
6) Validate Engineering System design and functionality
7) Ensure compliance with requirements, standards, and applicable regulatory authority and maintain the integrity of the product
8) Coordinate activities and products with internal partners and external suppliers
9) Facilitating Program Level processes and execution, escalating impediments, managing risk, and helping drive program level continuous improvement
10) Requirements decomposition, test requirements generation, test planning and test execution
11) Effectively working on a diverse team that includes multiple Client sites and multiple suppliers

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
1) System developer with experience developing and delivering SW intensive systems
Additional desired skills and experience:
1) Experience and demonstrated skills in systems and SW engineering
2) Client Commercial Aircraft electrical system design and development
3) Experience in logic diagram development
4) Familiar with FAA certification process
5) SLATE, Mapper and PDM experience
6) Experience reviewing and dispositioning Supplier Data Requirements Lists
7) Experience in document development (cert summary reports, system description document, system safety analysis, etc.)
8) Self-starter that can work with little management or lead direction

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift
7 AM - 3:30 PM

MISCELLANEOUS:
Travel Required-Less than 10% of the time
