Technical Recruiter

Chipton-Ross, Inc. is seeking an entry level IT recruiter.
The Technical Recruiter will be able to source, screen and place candidates using a variety of search tools and advertisements. Knowledge of networking, software development and hardware technology are essential to communicating your requirements to potential candidates

A successful IT Recruiter will be able to:

Understand the IT environment, terminology and knowledge of the various aspects of IT

Review assigned job order descriptions and understand the technical needs of the client

Ask questions that will allow you to source and find the right candidate

Identify and screen candidates that are ideal to the requirements of the job order, includes cold calling candidates, therefore strong communication skills are essential for success

Use different mediums of reaching out to potential candidates (social networking, cold calling, email, etc.)

Follow up with candidates and create a candidate pipeline for future job order openings


Review assigned job orders and understand the technical job requirements

Source, screen, and evaluate potential candidates that meet the position requirements

Required Skills:

-Knowledge and understanding of technical requirements
-Ability to effectively communicate with candidates
-Ability to build strong relationships
-Ability to learn technical information
