Industrial Engineer (KS)

Description:
Manufacturing consists of jobs associated with production, test, and delivery of company products.

Job Family Description:
Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel and optimization of product flow.

May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations.

Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. On the basis of these studies, develops and implements optimized product flow.

May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities. Develops and provides time standards to the shop floor as well as standard work for operations and processes. Utilizes analytical skills for capacity analysis, tool and equipment utilization as well as line balancing.

Performs trend analysis of shop performance measures to identify opportunities for improvements. 

Requirements:
INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER - Level 3

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's and 6 to 9 years' related work experience, a Master's degree and 4 to 7 years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Project:
Shop support. Will be working on Rate Readiness, tool improvements and metrics.

Supply Chain Procurement (KS)

Description:
Conducts, manages and maintains synchronization of a supply chain for obtaining goods and services for the company. Interfaces with internal and external customers and suppliers. Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements. Manages inventory levels, simulation, modeling forecasting data, and supplier performance. Monitors customer inventory demand and material assets to optimize total supply chain planning. Incorporates planning decisions from customers and suppliers to reduce material and product variability, and arrive at optimal solutions. Develops requests for quotations and proposals, analyzes supplier responses, negotiates and awards contracts, and manages post award supplier activities. Interfaces with internal and external customers and suppliers. Ability to analyze internal and external systems that create demand for products to validate requirements (e.g., customer inventory demand, supplier parts availability and material assets that are on hand or in transit) and to determine the proper course of action (e.g., release orders/maintain schedules against existing contracts to internal and external suppliers for procured items) to satisfy requirements. Apply knowledge of suppler management and procurement process in development and execution of contracts/agreements for obtaining goods and services. Knowledge of industry standards, supplier capabilities, product configuration, manufacturing processes, and governmental regulations relating to procurement.

Inspector - Fabrication/Assembly (M13) (KS)

Description:
Responsible for a wide range of inspection functions supporting materials, sheet metal, composites, process and assembly operations. Follow programs, documents, drawings, specifications and quality standards to perform inspection functions. Perform audit/surveillance/measurement/inspection of all sheet metal/composite parts/assemblies according to specifications, processes and procedures. Initiate and document any non-conforming materials, parts, assemblies or portions thereof, according to specification, process and procedures.

1. Use and interpret drawings, inspection manuals and specifications, shop mathematics precision measuring instruments, specialized inspection machines, tools and equipment necessary to accomplish work assignments.

2. Experience working with Quality Management System Policies and Procedures.

3. Working knowledge of Company Policies, Procedures and Specifications.

4. Overall working knowledge of production processes.

5. Contact other company organizations or customer representatives, as required to coordinate and accomplish work assignments.

6. Good communication skills – written and verbal.

IT - End User Support (KS)

Description:
Develop, document and provide coordination of training efforts, administrative duties and technical support to end users during the deployment of a company wide manufacturing systems application. This position requires knowledge of Windows based applications (Browser, email, Screen sharing, etc) being a presence on the shop floor, working within groups, working one on one with end users and strong communication skills.

Will pull together training materials, tips, sheets, FAQs, contact names/numbers and instruction guides that will assist with the deployment of the application. Will coordinate training to prepare and provide support staff with the needed tools to assist manufacturing end users.

Will provide end user technical support, escalate issues and document problems/solutions in a cost-effective manner that complies with company standards, policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:
Level 1

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree and up to 2 years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Shifts: Will start out on 1st shift but MAY move to 2nd or 3rd. Shifts will overlap to provide coverage/feedback to oncoming shift employees.

Phone interviews will be conducted at the start but may move into doing onsite interviews for later hires
