R&D Test Development Engineer - RW

Description:
Write Plans, Protocols, and Reports to support Test Method Characterization and Validation.
Design and implement experiments to support proof of concept and verification activities.
Develop and qualify test systems software and hardware.
Support decisions that impact system architecture determined by thorough engineering analysis and data.
Develop data acquisition systems and perform mathematical and statistical analysis of captured data.
Develop design testing and characterization plans.
Document all development activities to ensure design traceability.
Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis of complex electro-mechanical systems..
Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and proven hands-on mechanical skills.
Proficiency with developing basic electronic circuits and wiring electromechanical components.
Proficiency in integrating data acquisition systems with load cells, accelerometers, and peripheral devices utilizing serial and Ethernet communication.
Proficiency in developing data acquisition and motion control applications using LabVIEW software.
Proficiency with standard test equipment including Instron, accelerometers, force gauges, and data loggers.
