Assembles fabricated parts at floor stations. Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications. Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary
Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. May require 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Instrument Project Engineer - Refinery Exp (TX)

Basic Function
An Instrument Project Engineer (IE) is responsible for the design and implementation of process instrumentation from initial conception through field installation. They are responsible for designs that provide the most reliable and cost-effective instrument systems. In addition, the IE provides consulting services to process designers in developing process design specifications, develops operating and training manuals for mechanical and process personnel and participates in training operating personnel.

An IE:
• Writes purchase and construction specifications and writes and performs Factory Acceptance Tests.

• Must have three or more years of instrumentation experience and three or more years of direct experience in a refinery, chemical and/or manufacturing industry.

Role description & Responsibilities:

*Will consider a mechanical engineer with extensive NX CAD design experience with a current active secret clearance to fill this roll as well*

Highly motivated structural analysis engineer with composite structures and assemblies for military and/or commercial aircraft. The candidate should also have experience with the characterization of composite materials with ASTM standard tests.
