Entry Level System Engineer W/DOORs

Description:
*This is a full time, 1 year contract position located in Archibald, PA (near Scranton, PA)*



We are hiring for a DOORs System Engineer who will be doing system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, supportability and effectiveness analyses for DoD instrumentation and control cabinetry. The applicant will create basis of estimates for production and engineering development efforts and handle everyday technical issue resolution.

Daily duties will include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Candidate will work on logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost. Part of the job will be to do functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.



Required:
*2 years’ experience in systems engineering including requirements management and data analysis using DOORs, with some understanding of a product’s life cycle.
*US Citizens only please
*Engineering degree (BSEE preferred)



Preferred:
*Experience leading work or school projects
*Experience with Verification and Validation (V&V)
*Familiar with electrical schematics, Visio, PSPics or PLC development
*Knowledge of CAD packages such as Creo.
