The Cyber Security Engineer will develop, plan, organize and conduct complex design and Cyber Security certification assignments on Textron Aviation aircraft. This role will operate in one or more functional disciplines within engineering. Work requires use of advanced Cyber Security principles.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for completing complex development, design, testing and Cyber Security certification assignments for Platform Information Technology (PIT) during new aircraft design and avionics modifications. Serves as technical consultant for Program Protection activities, including Trusted Systems and Networks (TSN), Cyber Resiliency, Anti-Tamper, and Information Protection. Gathers data and prepares documentation in support of U.S. Government Assessment and Authorization (A&A) efforts to obtain Cyber Security Authorization to Operate (ATO) certification.
2. Performs research, calculations, and estimates for projects to conform with established specifications. Develops creative, scientific alternatives during course of job assignments to reach desired outcome. Determines status of work in progress.
3. Maintains a high degree of proficiency in computer applications to accomplish tasks.
4. Consults and coordinates with other engineering and manufacturing personnel to coordinate design function and resolve technical problems. Consults with suppliers to discuss and remedy issues in a more timely and efficient manner. Consults with customer Cyber Security representatives to develop and verify requirements, mitigate risks, and devise action plans.
5. Requests and coordinates work performed by Engineering support groups, Experimental, Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management for the project. Instructs suppliers as to materials, equipment and hardware for utilization on aircraft in accordance with approved specifications.
6. Maintains contact with Product Support Engineering and production departments to resolve engineering problems impeding production and to assist in the incorporation of new design concepts and changes.
7. Monitors and conducts analyses on first article fabrication and operation to assure adequacy of design.
8. Reviews and evaluates supplier proposals for potential utilization.
9. Assures supervision awareness of program status, problems and successes. Provides periodic design reviews and updates presentations to management of engineering and other company organizations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Current CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification
• Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) per DoDI 8510.01 or AFI 17-101
• Ability to obtain U.S. security clearance
• Professional and diplomatic demeanor
• Strong sense of accountability and integrity
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Time management skills to support multiple concurrent projects
• Ability to read 2D drawings using standard industry practices
• Proficient in use of standard Microsoft Office programs

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Current Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent certification
• Current U.S. Secret or higher security clearance
• Experience with military avionics and mission systems, especially encrypted radios or military datalink communications systems
• 3 or more years of experience with DoD cybersecurity including RMF/ATO/DIACAP certification
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or Computer Science

Overall Responsibilities:

The A&P Mechanic is responsible to perform functions assigned in the service, repair, and overhaul of aircraft and aircraft components, parts and accessories, in which they will be qualified and appropriately certificated for the work performed. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Job Duties:
Shall positively support and promote safety, security, and quality as a fundamental function of the overall responsibility.
Inform his Supervisor/Lead immediately of any un-airworthy conditions found during performance of work assigned.
Keep a clean and safe work area at all times. Ensure that waste materials, paint, alodine, and other fluids are properly handled.
Coordinate with other departments as necessary to ensure a smooth and continuous workflow.
Read and use maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogs, blueprints, ATA codes, service bulletins, routine and non-routines and other related maintenance documents in order to troubleshoot and effectively complete work assignments, within assigned time lines.
Complete all tasks to the quality standards of WGA, FAA, and approved maintenance manuals.
Perform such typical maintenance operations adjusting rigging and safety wiring. This includes power plant and flight control removal and reinstallation.
Repair, modify, replace or overhaul aircraft and aircraft systems to ensure airworthiness.
Ensures proper execution of parts tags attached to repairable, serviceable or condemned parts.
Ensure that the maintenance documents are accurate and properly annotated.
Use and operate safely all ground support equipment.
Ensure that GMM, and FAA regulations and procedures are followed.
Accomplish all required servicing of the aircraft including wheel and brake replacement, engine oil servicing, replacing burnt out light bulbs, wiping down struts, etc.
Perform other duties as directed by their direct supervisor and/or direct manager.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, stand; walk; talk or hear; and use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
Qualifications:
FAA A&P License • High school diploma or equivalent.
Occasional travel to perform duties away from base.
Two (2) years, aircraft maintenance experience. MD-11/B747, preferred.

    Description:
    Inconen is looking for a Deceleration Engineer for our client, a well-known Aerospace Company, in Orlando, FL.

    Duties:
    Our client in Orlando, FL is seeking an Aerospace or Mechanical Engineer to support the deceleration team. This team is responsible for design and analysis of the parachute systems used for air-extraction of our various launch vehicles. These air-extractions are similar in concept to standard military cargo extraction from aircraft like the C-130 or C-17A.

    The successful candidate will be asked to perform parachute design activities through 6DOF simulation and loads analysis. This entails designing parachute structures, reefing ratios, riser and mainline lengths, etc. to ensure a successful extraction and descent while ensuring launch vehicle load capabilities are not exceeded. The candidate will be expected to read, understand, update, and maintain a 6 Degree-of-Freedom simulation used to simulate the extraction and descent of our clients launch vehicles. This position will require a background in vector mechanics, dynamics, and software configuration control processes. The candidate may also participate in estimating aerodynamic properties and loads through the use of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software.

    Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each):
    50% - Activities to include tooling design, tooling procurement and fabrication, and conduct tooling functional checkout. Responsible for tooling design based on efficiency, ease and safety or operation, ease of maintenance and cost of fabrication. Interfaces with suppliers and manufacturing personnel to assure that tool design requirements and intent are met. Coordinate tooling functional checkout with manufacturing disciplines prior to releasing tooling to manufacturing operations.
    15% - Parachute Design and Loads Analysis.
    40% - Parachute/Extraction System Modeling and Simulation updates.
    35% - Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) of Parachutes and Target System.
    10% - Oversee field installation and testing of Parachute design.

    Skills:
    REQUIRED:
