Mechanical Engineer

Description:
Design project lead in research, design, and development of mechanical applications to the design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electro-mechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and ground test / mechanical tests. Additionally responsible for the CAD support of design projects and execution of Engineering design changes.

Design Engineer will be responsible for developing complete Landing Gear layouts in response to customer requirements and design methodologies. This will involve conducting and documenting trade studies, developing complete Landing Gear design layouts, and provide input/guidance to the customer for landing system procurement specification development and maturation during the joint development phase of the program.

Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of experience is required. Knowledge of PDM (Smarteam, MatrixOne, Team Center) systems, Catia V5, & MS programs (Word, Excel, Project, Power Point).
