Title: Aeronautical Engineer

Description

Candidate will be responsible for designing and building a system integration laboratory (SIL). This effort includes design of mechanical and electronic interfaces to support software development, integration and test efforts. Candidate will have hands-on hardware experience and software skills. Candidate will be able to troubleshoot hardware/software integration issues and perform integration and test. Define, develop, analyze and coordinate SIL requirements, allocate requirements and define interfaces between subsystems. Effort also includes flow down of requirements to procurement specifications, and management of vendor selection and vendor performance, including verification of requirements. Description:
Assemble, install, seal, rig, inspect, and complete precision and other structural and system components, working from drawings, documents, process specifications, quality control requirements, and established processes and procedures. Functional test and correct, fit form and function of assemblies and components.

Duties:
The Company will provide appropriate assistance in job training to enable employees to perform all necessary job functions including the following:

Integral Fuel Cell - Apply sealing compounds to seal fuel cell and wing section components

Verifies dimensions of parts using both mechanical and electronic measurement tools and, relative to these inspection duties, initiate and document corrective action for programming issues and other problems.

Requirements:
3-5 years aircraft sheet metal assembly - preferably large structures.

Must have heavy background of sealing, drilling and countersinking.

Need at least some experience building the structure of the aircraft - not exclusively MRO experience.

First three days will be spent obtaining Client Certifications.

Basic Function
An Instrument Project Engineer (IE) is responsible for the design and implementation of process instrumentation from initial conception through field installation. Description:
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide electrical engineering support to Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) programs for military aircraft/weapon systems, including planning, directing, and/or participating in aircraft and laboratory testing. Prepares procurement specification inputs, interface drawings, installation design packages, and calibration procedures to accommodate unique test requirements. Oversees systems modifications, installation, integration, and checkout functions. Performs test planning, data collection, and test data analysis. Functions entail providing support for electrical power quality testing and evaluation, including voltage and frequency transients/modulation, voltage distortion, and power interruption on various aircraft, shipboard, ground vehicle, and vendor prototype components and equipment. Functions involve applying engineering principles to modify and upgrade laboratory electrical and instrumentation systems in support of power and propulsion RDT&E programs. PRIMARY TOOLS OR EQUIPMENT: Able to set-up and operate servo-hydraulic material test machines and electro-dynamic vibration shakers with both manual and computer controllers. Able to set-up and operate digital and analog meters and displays, spectrum analyzers, plotters, recorders, dial indicators, calculators, various manual and pneumatic hand tools and other equipment and tools typically found in the test lab. Able to use measurement tools such as calipers, dial indicators, micrometers, weigh scales, and machinist scales. Ability to use shop hand tools, pneumatic tools, lifting devices, and cranes.
