Description:

Focused support within the F-35 Fleet Modifications (FM) Team to fulfill various project planning, status reporting, and augmented Cost Account Management (CAM) responsibilities. Support the FM Team Manager to accomplish a variety of precise, time-sensitive and high-quality monthly deliverables, metrics and presentations. Responsibilities include; collecting, editing and preparing incremental accomplishment data, reports and metrics; assessing team performance to plan and defining estimate to complete projections; development of team labor charging recommendations; determining earned value variance causes, explanations and corrective recommendations/actions; assist in developing proposal response basis of estimates, to include long term staffing forecasts/implications; and coordinating within the team as a focal point to enable efficient collaboration with other functional organizations. Must possess excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Position involves a wide range of influence and requires a resourceful, independent self-starter able to analyze and solve complex logistical and programmatic problems involving solicitations of and commitments from various stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:

•Solid background and understanding of Project Management fundamentals
•Proficient in applying Cost Account Management/Earned Value principles
•Adept in developing products in MS Word, Excel, Project and Power Point
•Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and leadership skills
•Bachelor degree from an accredited college
•Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
•US Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications:

•Cost Account Management / Professional Logistics Accreditation(s)
•MS Access proficiency (creating queries, forms, reports and code/VBA)
•Six Sigma Certification / Facilitation experience
•Prior aircraft Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul and Upgrade (MRO&U) program experience
•Familiarity with the F-35 program/platform a plus
•Current Active Secret Clearance
