Production Stress Engineer

Description:
UNIQUE SKILLS
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in stress analysis on primary aircraft structures.
• Must have some experience conducting fatigue analysis on aircraft structure.
• Must have FEM and CATIA V5 experience.
• Experience developing and substantiating aircraft structural repairs is a plus.
• Experience in structural repair development and analysis.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Selects appropriate methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to resolve complex engineering issues
• Consulted extensively by associates and others as a recognized authority within the field
• Anticipates and resolves complex issues in creative and effective ways, developing standards and guides for diverse engineering activities
• Approach to problem solving balances technical product, cost and schedule
• Exercises latitude in determining technical objectives of assignments, and makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
• Bachelors Degree in engineering; AE, CE, ME with a minimum of 10 years analysis experience on primary airframe structure.
