Description:
Systems Analyst / Hypersonics

Location: Jupiter, FL
Pay Rate: DOE ($50/hr - $70/hr)
Duration: 1 year W2 contract
Shift: Reg. 40 hour week, OT possible
**MUST be a U.S. CITIZEN**
**MUST have an ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE**

Duties:
Systems Analyst to support Hypersonics programs.

Required Skills:
** Candidates should have experience with NPSS (Numerical Propulsion Simulation System) **
-Ability to transform a physical system schematic into a model configuration.
-Experience in the definition of system requirements and creation of requirements documents.
-Knowledge of dynamic elements of compressible and incompressible fluid systems, mechanical system dynamics, control system elements.
-Knowledge of modeling methods for system components, in particular sensors, valves and actuators.
-Knowledge of how the simulation pieces work together (i.e. order of calculations, file make-up, etc.).
-Ability to troubleshoot simulation problems including model convergence, model robustness, and numerical methods.
-Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink, FORTRAN or C.
-Knowledge of configuration management processes.
-Proficiency with MS Office: Word, EXCEL and Powerpoint.

Desired:
-Knowledge of ROCETS and/or NPSS simulation system.
-Familiarity with air-breathing engine systems including ramjet/scramjets.
-Familiarity with Unigraph.

Education:
-B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
