Ice Protection Expert, Aircraft Engines - China

Description:
Leading Chinese civil aerospace engine development organization are seeking a Technical Expert in Ice Protection Systems design and analysis to provide high-level technical consultancy support for a new major aero engine development program.

Responsibilities for this position will include:
•Establish the development strategy within Ice protection design & analysis.
•Take lead role within research and design activities, including managing resources and responsibility for the engineering application of technology.
•Provide technical expertise within ice protection technology within engineering design.
•Responsible for personal development of technical staff in the team.

You will be a technical expert within the field of ice protection design & analysis for aircraft structures and systems, including some knowledge of systems for aero engines. This will ideally include experience of airworthiness standards certification. You should have held a lead role and be capable of taking charge of major design/research projects.

Ideally the client is looking to hire someone on a fixed-term employment basis working directly for the Chinese client in Shanghai, with initial durations of between 2 and 5 years available (renewable). In addition to a generous salary the remuneration package includes accommodation (or allowances), home leave and local travel allowances, healthcare provision and other benefits.

Consideration will also be given to aerospace ice protection experts who are looking to work on an hourly/daily paid consultancy basis and the client can be flexible on the hours of work in China when operating on this basis.
