Certification Engineer III - Structures / Stress

Description:
CERTIFICATION ENGINEER III - STRUCTURES / STRESS
MUST BE US Citizens

Job Description:
• Generate stress and fatigue analysis on composite and metal aircraft structures using classical hand analysis and Finite Element Modeling
• Conduct static and dynamic certification tests
• Manage ground, bench, and flight test data acquisition, data reduction and analysis
• Complete FAA and foreign certification activities
• Author test proposals, test results, analysis reports, and certification reports
• Review and approve technical drawings to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and regulations

Qualifications:
• 10+ years’ applied aerospace industry experience required.
• Must have experience with FAA or EASA Part 23 and Part 25 certification.
• Applicant must be highly motivated, willing to work in fast paced environment, and have interest in aviation industry.
• Technical report writing skills to prepare test plans, test results, structural analysis substantiations, and regulatory compliance reports.
• Applicant must show general knowledge of aerospace design.
• Experience using SOLIDWORKS, FEMAP, NASTRAN, MS Excel, and MS Word.

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
