Supplier Quality Specialist Levels 1-3

Description:
Job Description:

Plans and conducts audits and assessments of supplier's systems, processes and products. Documents and reports audit and assessment results. Inspects or verifies products for compliance with requirements. Assists with assessments of supplier capability and capacity to perform current or potential future work. Provides supplier education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives. Resolves routine issues and concerns.

Additionally, quality assurance aerospace experience required in hardware inspection. Ability to read and understand blueprints drawings. Medium to advance Data base systems and excel experience. This is a virtual assignment, traveling domestically to suppliers' facilities within SC State, particularly in the Charleston area. On-call assignment with approximately between 20-25 hours weekly. Hours will vary week to week and are typically 32 or less. Candidates must reside within an 40 mile radius from Charleston, SC in order to timely support the assignment.

Preferred Experience:
- Working with suppliers
- Inspection, including first article inspection
- Root cause corrective analysis
