Manufacturing Engineer (Aerospace Industry)

Description:
This candidate will:
• manage high complexity design and planning of layout for assembly and materials handling.
• Adapt machines or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
• Plan Sequence of Operations and specification procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.

Candidates will support a work transfer project to India.

Project scope includes:
• baselining current processes,
• implementation of corrective actions, and
• related fixture design.

Additional duties to include support of legacy product lines. Legacy lines include:
• aircraft wipers,
• video systems, and
• electronic sub systems.

Required Qualifications
• Good interpersonal skills and be self-motivated.
• Bachelor’s degree

Desired qualifications:
• Experienced Manufacturing Engineer capable in process design, work instruction creation and fixture design.
• Experience in Aerospace Engineering
• Proficiency in SAP, Teamcenter, CREO
