Systems Engineer Sr (ACTIVE DoD SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED)

Location: Huntsville, AL
Pay Rate: $60/hr
Duration: 15 Month W2 Contract
Shift: First, 9/80, exempt OT
**MUST have an ACTIVE DoD SECRET CLEARANCE**

Position Description
-THAAD Ground Systems Development (GSD) Systems Engineer reporting to the Team Lead for development of Concept of Operations, functional and algorithm design for engagement operations.
-Selected candidate will be responsible for algorithm prototyping within the suite of modeling and simulation tools; development of new analysis tools, conduct analysis for assessment of prototype design; generation of Algorithm Description Documentation of final design; support to software development teams for formal software development and test activities.
-Selected candidate will also support program planning, and program execution status activities, and proposal development for new efforts.

Skills Required
-Modeling/simulation experience
-C/C++ programming experience
-Matlab proficiency

Experience Required
-Past experience with missile defense algorithm development and analysis
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to successfully interface with Company Senior Management, Customers, and members of U.S. Army Air Defense community at large

Skills Preferred
-Experience in Missile Defense Concepts and Interoperability
-Experience with Missile Defense - Engagement Operations/Force Operations Experience with Algorithm configuration management
-Experience in Requirements and Verification
-Experience with the DOORS Requirements Database
