Job Purpose:

To ensure the repair stations operations are conducted in accordance with the pertinent FAA Regulations, Quality Manual/Procedures, Customer Air Carrier Requirements and is designated with final airworthiness determination.

Job Duties:

• The Chief Inspector will have the final airworthiness authority for the release, as airworthy, of the units the repair station is rated to repair and maintain
• Responsible for ensuring all articles delivered to and maintained by the repair station are properly recorded and staged from receipt to delivery in their airworthy/serviceable condition
• Managing and delegating to the repair stations inspection staff ensuring the quality and production needs are maintained
• Perform, and have oversight of inspection personnel/activity, including Preliminary, Hidden Damage, In-Progress and Final inspections/RTS of aircraft articles processed by the Repair Station and assuring proper recording of results
• Ensure compliance with pertinent FAA regulations, manufacturer’s technical data/approved supplements, RSM/QCM and customer requirements
• Report all quality related issues to the QA Manager as soon as the Facility Manager is advised and ensure corrective actions are implemented
• Confirm that all equipment being maintained by the repair station is on the Capabilities List, the proper data is available and in use, the staff is properly trained and all records of work/release are complete/accurate

Qualifications:

• 2+ years’ experience as a lead inspector or manager in related aviation field

Principal Engineer (EMI/ EMC Electromagnetic Interference) - Domestic and International Programs
This position is based with the IDS Electrical Design Directorate Seapower and Electronic Systems Department in Marlborough, MA. Our engineers develop state of the art technology in support of multiple programs, international and domestic, deployed throughout the globe.
We are looking for an experienced Engineer in the field of EMI/ EMC electromagnetic interference/ electromagnetic compatibility. The candidate should possess at least 10 years of experience in this field with 10 years of engineering experience and have experience with both military and commercial standards, including but not limited to MIL-STD-461F and above, MIL-STD-464C and above, EN5550X, EN61000-XX and FCC Part 15. A critical skill will be ability to perform analysis with respect to NSTISSAM TEMPEST/2-95 and experience with the Certified TEMPEST Technical Authority (CTTA) and NSA TAG certified TEMPEST Professional Level 1 or 2. Additional areas of expertise will include experience in the design and verification analysis of EMI/EMC, Electrostatic Discharge (ESD), Hazards of Electromagnetic Radiation to Personnel (HERP), and Hazards of Electromagnetic to Ordnance (HERO), Lightning, EMP and High Altitude EMP, Shielding effectiveness and ESD. Instrument Project Engineer - Refinery Exp (TX)

Basic Function
An Instrument Project Engineer (IE) is responsible for the design and implementation of process instrumentation from initial conception through field installation. Johnson Service Group is looking for a Test Operations Manager.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

-Manages the daily operations and assignments of the Test Development, Production sustaining Test Engineering and support teams.
-Collaborates with Customer Focused Teams (CFTs) and Production Operations to ensure daily committed objectives are realized.
Teams include; Functional Test Development, Functional Test-Sustaining, In-Circuit Test (HP3070) Development, ICT Sustaining, Flying Probe (Takaya 9411, SPEA 4060) Development, Sustaining engineering, functional and ICT debug technicians.
-Supports Sales with new prospect engagements to understand product testing requirements as technical resource.
-Creates product test development project plans and timelines.
-Supports all related activities including direct engagement with customers engineering staff and Corporate Global Engineering resources to ensure project objective are met.
-Engages with third party supporting resources and suppliers as necessary.
-Collaborates closely with staff on product test platform issues, trending product failures, etc. to define resolution, escalates as necessary.
-Makes recommendations for continuous improvement opportunities.
-Manages the Department’s equipment assets.
-Defines what equipment is or may be required to support current and future customer’s product testing requirements
-Creates equipment acquisition justifications and requests
-Collaborates with Quality Engineering for process improvement, supports internal and external corrective actions
-Supports and drives Department 5-S and other organizational opportunities.
-Provides daily statistics on work in process and resource planning in support of Production requirements.

Qualifications Required / Job Specifications:

-Technically qualified; 8+ years’ experience as Sr.Test Engineer, experienced in a functional test development role preferred.
-Experience with “Open Source” development; LinuxOS, python scripting, VB and other scripting languages
-Experienced with Labview/Teststand preferred
-Experience with strategizing product test interfaces (hardware design.
-Experience in driving / supporting the development product test diagnostics in conjunction with test application development
-5+ years direct Management experience leading a team of development and sustaining production Test Engineers as well as managing a staff of supporting technicians.
-Highly experienced in creating product test strategy and project planning
-Experience performing in the EMS (contract manufacturing) industry or directly interacting with EMS providers highly preferred
-Experience as a project manager directing and overseeing and driving on time delivery of supporting material with external suppliers.
-Prior experience performing as both supplier and customer is extremely helpful.
-Experience interacting with internal and/or external product designers, system architects, etc. to extract details. necessary to develop and propose the test strategy and methods; both hardware and software.
-Experience performing in a dynamic production test environment.
-Wide ranging exposure to products of different technologies; WiFi, data center, data storage, industrial electronics (semiconductor test and performance characterization electronics, medical and automotive, etc).
-Highly skilled in the use of MS Office applications.
-Ability to present proposals, performance metrics, project status, etc. both to internal management as well as customer team
-May analyze existing or customer proposed test strategies for efficiency and cost-down opportunities.
-Negotiating skills are very helpful to achieve desired results

-Ability to apply advanced concepts of algebra, statistics and geometry

Description:

Duties:

Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs. Supports analysis and design reviews. Develops and maintains electrical product detail, assembly and installation designs (e.g., equipment racks, power panels, cable routing and geometry, antennas).Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests).
