Quality Control Analyst

Description:
Quality Control Analyst

Location: Bothell, WA
Duration: 6 months

Description:
- Performs analyses and tests of components/products from suppliers or internal manufacturing, to ensure quality standards and compliance to customer, internal and regulatory requirements.
Performs a variety of qualitative tests on samples, and aids in maintenance and certification of test instruments and apparatus to ensure compliance. Prepares and monitors quality statistics and reports.
Reviews production records for conformance to procedures. Conducts non-conformance tests of manufactured, packaged or tested product.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Inspecting components and assemblies
- Calibration activities
- Evaluate and disposition production nonconforming hardware and analyze defect data to identify systemic issues and trends
- Maintain electronic or mechanical equipment used to test products or process data.
- Gathers and manipulates common data, verifies adequacy and appropriateness;
- Inputs and organizes component specifications into hardware databases
- Develops charts, diagrams, and standard reports.
- Support, participate and execute continuous improvement activities

Mandatory:
- High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks and 3 Years of experience.
- Work experience inspecting components and assemblies
- Work experience performing Calibration activities
- Demonstrated work experience with components and understanding of part specifications, drawings, blueprints
- Excellent communication skills
- Intermediate Level Use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good understanding of manufacturing and hardware engineering processes.

Desired:
AS9100 or ISO 9001 knowledge
Familiarity with hardware engineering requirements development and design, and system integration and test
