Manufacturing Engineer

Description:
Nesco Resource is seeking a Direct Hire as a Manufacturing Engineer for our client in Kalamazoo, MI.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for continuous improvement on the manufacturing process; materials, design and manufacturing groups.

Job Description

  • Provide leadership on continuous improvement of manufacturing.

  • Develops and implements new processes

  • Works with other departments with design, materials and manufacturing groups to create instructions, drawings, and other documentation.

  • Drive repair, preventative maintenance, and calibration services of manufacturing equipment with the use of manufacturing equipment.

  • Monitor data and metrics to identify areas of waste and prioritize the development and implementation of solutions.

  • Develop budget of equipment


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree in manufacturing is preferred. 

  • 3-5 years’ of experience in industrial manufacturing

  • Analytical and ability to improve processes

  • Background in mechanical, assembly, and fabrication

  • Ability to communicate both verbally and written

  • Experience in CAD Design preferred
