Composite Structural Design Engineers - Multiple Openings
Location: Virginia
Duration: 12+ months

Composite Structural Design Engineer Responsibilities
Design-to-build activities for a Military aircraft composed of primary composite and secondary composite and metallic structures.
Composite Structural Design Engineer Requirements
- Education: A BS degree is highly desired
- 10 years of experience in Aerospace
- 6000+ hours experience with CATIA v5 (Part Design and Generative Surface Design (GSD) a plus)
- At least 2000 hrs on V5R23 or higher
- Entirely 3D CAD Design using Model Based Definition (MBD)
- Experience with ENOVIA\SmarTeam
- Experience with CATIA Functional Tolerancing and Annotation (FTA) workbench-300 hours
- Experience with CATIA Composite Part Design (CPD) a plus
- SmarTeam experience is preferred
- Ideal Candidates : Familiar with GD&T for MBD. Lack of or limited MBD workbench with tolerancing may limit contractor's duration on the program.
- Able to move around a production facility
