Job Description

1) Develop mechanical prototypes using CAD and rapid prototyping methods 2) Design test fixtures for verification, characterization, calibration, and reliability testing for devices with electronic, fluidic, and mechanical functionalities 3) Define test plans in collaboration with the lead engineers 4) Troubleshooting of devices during early stages of design and development 5) Analyze test failures and work with design engineers to identify the root cause of failure 6) Perform mechanical testing of components and materials, data analysis Candidate must be well-versed in 3D CAD, prototyping methods, mechanical testing, and basic data analysis. Awesome analytical and organizational skills, coupled with a well-focused attention to details; ability and commitment to produce a timely and highly accurate work.

Skill/Experience/Education

Mandatory Bachelor's or higher degree in engineering discipline (mechanical, materials, biomedical).
Demonstrated experience in industrial R&D environment - 3D CAD (Solidworks)

Desired Experience in mechanical testing, basic experience with JMP/Matlab, basic data analysis and statistics
