Electrical Power Systems Engineer (Aerospace) - China

Description:
Leading aerospace company are seeking an Electrical Power Systems Engineer for the design and modelling of aircraft electrical systems. This will be working on a range of commercial aircraft development projects, based at their modern facility in Shanghai. Duties and responsibilities will include:-

* Planning and building electrical system simulation platform

* Develop and promote design standards for electrical system

* Define the design specification of electrical systems and equipment

* Simulation model design review

* Responsible for electrical power system architecture, communication interface design, power quality definition

The client is seeking an Senior Electrical Systems Engineer with extensive experience in the simulation, analysis and design of electrical power systems for commercial aircraft (e.g. APUs, power generation systems etc.) This will include a good knowledge and use of simulation and design tools, including Matlab/Simulink, Saber etc.

These positions will be on a fixed-term contract basis of 2-3 years initially, with a strong likelihood of further work beyond this. They come with an attractive salary package which includes allowances for accommodation, home leave (typically 4 times a year), local transport, healthcare etc
