Description:
Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Centennial, CO
Duration: 6 months

Description:
Tasks:
- Review Wire Harness Drawings
Compare engineering drawings with a checklist and provide feedback to design engineers.
Collaborate findings and discoveries with other drawing reviewers.
Learn and understand client design practices and processes.

Required Background:
- High school degree required - College degree preferred but NOT required. At least 4 yrs. experience
- Familiarity with wire harnessing components and materials: connectors, backshells, wire/cable, contacts, splices, tapes, sleeving, materials, etc.
- Familiarity with wire harness design tools: Teamcenter, Zuken, CREO, NX, Canvas, Adobe, SharePoint, etc.
- Experience with manufacturing production: manufacturing processes/DPIs, work orders, testing, PIRS (non conformance documentation).
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications.

Preferred Skills / Abilities:
- Ability to change priorities and open to constructive feedback.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work successfully in a team environment by interfacing with members of project teams, multiple engineering disciplines, and manufacturing facilities to meet team objectives.
- Able to set aside egos and emotions in order to get the job done and meet customer need dates.
- Aggressive about solving issues and acts with a sense of urgency.

- Requires a bachelor's degree and 4-8 years of experience
