thermal analysis engineer

Description:
The Thermal Analysis Engineer:

• Senior position whose job responsibilities would include developing and overseeing a plan for thermal analysis and design of systems on an advanced tilt-rotor.
• Familiarity with industry tools such as StarCCM+ and RadTherm is required.
• The primary task will be to mentor and direct engineers in the steps to design and analyze high thermal load areas of the airframe.


Position Responsibilities:
• Guide development of the software/analysis capabilities required.
• Mentor and direct a less experienced engineer.
• Oversee analysis of airframe compartments for thermal load.
• Develop options and designs to meet thermal requirements.
• Will perform other duties as required.

Educational requirements:

• M.S. Mechanical Engineering, Ph.D. preferred.

Position Requirements:

• 30+ years of thermal analysis and design experience.
• Must possess a strong analytical skillset.
• Must be able to mentor and direct less experienced engineers.
